Day 2 or is it really 3?

The night we arrived in Lipari was my sister's 44th birthday. So we lit candles and Andreas scooped what was her cake (it got a good beating while in the boat) into a bowl and we all sang happy birthday ...

The house is located two coves over from the old port. Up on the hill - overlooking a beach - with a great view of Vulcano and a distant Sicily.

It is quite a hike up and down - especially when it gets hot in the middle of the day. The stone beach is a bit much to walk on barefoot - but the water - the clarity of the water - makes it completely worth it.

So on our second day we ventured into town with Andreas' brother Sebastian and is son Anuk. After having a gelato I allowed Anuk to take some pictures ... which later involved me letting Mia take some when we got home ...
